Good home cooking, prices are reasonable. Nice personel. Rarely seen such a good host. Complaints are handled in a friendly and solution-oriented manner. We would like to come back as soon as possible. Especially when it is warm and the weather allows it to linger there, I can use the beer garden for the adults. And recommend the play area and meadow for the children.

No possibility to stop at Gru d Corona. Pity! But we will catch up. With the grandchildren we had made ourselves comfortable on a tree trunk in the sunshine and enjoyed our coffee, tea and cake. A few steps into the forest - near the restaurant, the children had a lot of fun with the horses in the paddock. An idyllic landscape to recharge your batteries with the family.

Rode by this afternoon by bike and there were easily 40 people on site. Eating and drinking in the beer garden, at bar tables and beer tables, everything that you shouldn't - there is no trace of masks or distance.

The delivery service is underground .. the food arrived 45 minutes later than originally agreed and was already cold. To make matters worse, we had a hair in the food. It can of course be an isolated case that we were just unlucky, but we would rather support other restaurants.

Very nice! Ideal with a child. Great food. Nice waiters. The kids are crazy about pony rides and the petting zoo. And as a mom you can lie in a deck chair with a drink, even in autumn ... 👍 Perfect Sunday!

Eating and drinking in between, because you are out and about by bike or on foot. You have to stop here, there is no lounge where you can make yourself comfortable with upholstery. Then you stay a little longer. But otherwise beautiful area is often visited. So get on your bike and go!

The meal takes a long time, but the prices are substantial for the portions. The ice cream on the Stil was already thawed, something like that is not allowed to be sold. It's a shame, but unfortunately the quality is not right at the moment.

We were only there to drink. The operation is mainly regulated by pupils / students. But you are asked at a good distance whether you still need anything. There are numerous animals there. Horses, llamas, goats, geese, chickens. There is a playground for children, beach loungers and parking spaces for bicycles. There is a forest car park across the street.

If I read the previous reviews, I was in the wrong place. The food is too expensive for the poor quality. Every french fry stall is better. The drinks were all warm as well tasted like they'd been standing around for hours. The staff is partly trying but unable. It also looks very untidy around the building and is littered. And who is responsible for compliance with the corona rules in this restaurant? Apparently there is an exception for the Thomashütte. Because the data was neither recorded nor disinfected the tables when the guest changed! We are now waiting for the next change of ownership.

Handkäs the way it should be. I have been avoiding the Thomashütte for a long time, as it is only "chic micki", an event location and everything that no one wants to be. Now under new management, I am very positively surprised. There was a bigger wedding party next door and the catering in the beer garden went really well. The staff is very attentive and friendly. Many restaurants have - typically Hessian - hand cheese with music on the menu. Only a few bring a mature cheese to the plate at the right temperature - the Thomashütte is one of them! Gladly again!

Beer garden in the forest. Under new management since 2020. The property is pretty shabby. But you can see that a lot is happening and a lot is being done. Drinks and food were okay. But there is still room for improvement. The service fits, but needs to be better coordinated. I'm curious how it will be when the new owners have really "settled in" there.

Were there yesterday. This week there is a new cook on site and we thought we should try it ... Food was super delicious !!! Plates are nicely presented and the service was perfect! We will be back.

Food: grade 4. Beer was warm. Kellner explained that if the beer is not delivered until 8 a.m., it is still not really cold at 12 p.m. You just have to know. Once and never again.
